About us

Airborne Hydrography AB ("AHAB") develops and markets airborne laser survey systems for hydrographic and topographic surveys. Our key products are the Hawk Eye II bathymetric survey system and the Dragon Eye pure topographic survey system. Our customers are international survey companies and governmental organizations around the world. We offer our customers support, service, maintenance and applications development during the whole product lifetime.

In order to serve our customers, Airborne Hydrography offers a complete customer support program, including education of operators, system maintenance, spare parts handling, support to our customers survey organization including tools and processes available on site support or via telephone. In addition, customers are offered software updates and hardware improvements to maintain the technical competitiveness and extend the system lifetime.

The Airborne Hydrography Centre of Excellence within hydrographic and topographic Light Detection And Ranging ("LiDAR") technologies and optronics focus on the development and integration of laser survey systems with in-house development of state-of-the art- software and algorithms for interpretation of the laser pulse responses. The core in LiDAR technology is to measure quantities faster and better by utilizing state of the art lasers techniques.
